A Randomized Phase III Study of Systemic Therapy With or Without Hepatic Arterial Infusion for Unresectable Colorectal Liver Metastases: The PUMP Trial EA2222

This study compares two treatment approaches for adults with colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver and cannot be removed by surgery. We want to learn whether adding a pump treatment helps control or shrink the cancer. By taking part in this study, participants may help us improve options for people with colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver.

Sex: Male or Female
Age Group: 18 years and over
This study is NOT accepting healthy volunteers
Inclusion Criteria:

• age 18 or older
• diagnosed with colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver, cannot be removed by surgery, and has not been found outside the liver
• received about 3-6 months of first-line chemotherapy and have cancer that is stable or responding to treatment

Exclusion Criteria:

• have previously received certain treatments directed at the liver, such as radiation or hepatic artery infusion therapy
• have cirrhosis or portal hypertension
• are pregnant or breastfeeding
