Retrospective and Prospective Investigation of Primary Aldosteronism

This study is looking at primary aldosteronism, a condition in which the body makes too much of a hormone called aldosterone. This condition can cause conditions like high blood pressure and other health problems. By participating in this study, you can help us understand why some people respond better than others to surgery and to help improve how primary aldosterone is detected.

I'm interested

Sex: Male or Female
Age Group: 18 years and over
Inclusion Criteria:

• ages 18 or older
• have diagnosed with primary aldosteronism, are being evaluated for primary aldosteronism and possible adrenal surgery, or have previously had surgery to remove an adrenal gland
Exclusion Criteria:

• have had surgery on both adrenal glands
• have an adrenal condition that is part of a broader syndrome
