Prospective cohort study to describe the natural history of Epstein-Barr virus infection

Status: Recruiting

This study is following first-year university students to learn more about Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection. We want to learn more about how common EBV is, how often new infections occur, and what factors may be linked to infections. The results may help us plan future EBV studies.

I'm interested

Sex: Male or Female
Age Group: 18 years and over
This study is also accepting healthy volunteers
Inclusion Criteria:

• ages 18-20
• first-year college or university student
Exclusion Criteria:

• taking immune suppressing medication
• known immune system disorder
