Emotion Regulation Knowledge Study

The purpose of this study is to develop and evaluate a storybook-based tool that measures how children ages 4 and older understand and manage their emotions. Researchers will examine how children choose different emotion regulation strategies in a variety of situations, such as interactions with family, friends, or when alone, and how these skills relate to children's social and emotional development.

Sex: Male or Female
Age Group: Up to 18 years old
This study is also accepting healthy volunteers
Inclusion Criteria:

• children ages 4–12 years
• parent or legal guardian able to provide informed consent
• child and parent willing to participate in a single research visit involving an iPad-based storybook activity and a brief parent survey
