Molecular MRI Biomarkers in Parkinson's Disease

This study uses an advanced MRI scan to better understand how the brain produces and uses energy in people with Parkinson's disease (PD). What we learn may improve our understanding of PD and help guide future treatments.

I'm interested

Sex: Male or Female
Age Group: 18 years and over
This study is also accepting healthy volunteers
Inclusion Criteria:

• 40-80 years of age
• diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (PD)
• willingness to undergo brain MRI
Exclusion Criteria:

• diagnosed with dementia
• have a severe tremor
• have a neurological disorder or condition other than Parkinson's disease
• pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the study
• foreign objects or metal in the body that would prevent MRI participation
