Developing faster cardiac MRI protocols
Status: Recruiting
This study is about developing and finetuning imaging techniques for cardiac MRI to offer clinical and research teams a better understanding various conditions and how best to image them. This research will consist of a one-time visit which will take place at the same time as your scheduled imaging session. We expect that participating in this research study will add approximately 20 minutes to the clinical imaging session.
Sex: Male or Female
Age Group: 18 years and over
Inclusion Criteria:
• need a cardiac MRI for any reason
• able to speak English
• no contraindications for MRI
Exclusion Criteria:
• people who have pacemakers, implanted cardioverter-defibrillators, intracerebral clips or other implants that are not MR incompatible
• people who have atrial flutter or frequent atrial or ventricular irregular heart beats
• women who are pregnant
• have significant claustrophobia
• weight more than 250 pounds
